About Lib

Hello! My name is Elizabeth, but only my Mum calls me that. Everyone else knows me as Lib.

I moved from Australia to Abu Dhabi in 2022, with my husband and two teenage daughters.

I grew up by the beach in Sydney, Australia and later moved to the bush capital, Canberra. I miss the beach and bush, but have fallen in love with the desert!

Fun Facts about Me...

• I don’t drink caffeinated tea or coffee... even after having babies who did not sleep!
• I love animals. I would call myself a dog person as I had many dogs in Australia, but now in UAE, I have turned into a cat lady!
• I discovered a love for photography in 2010 after having kids and became an accredited professional photographer in 2013.
• I won State Family Photographer of the Year in 2017, and have recieved a number of awards for some of my photography
• I am also a qualified graphic designer with 20 years experience in the advertising industry.
• Even though Australia is so far away from the rest of the world, I travelled as much as I could. I absolutely love exploring new places with my camera. Japan and Thailand are my favs, but I have also been lucky enough to see and experience Indonesia, Hungary, Portugal, China, Jordan, Canada, Malaysia, to name a few... and now get to live in the United Arab Emirates!
